Microsoft Office Training WebcastsWelcome to NESDEC’s Microsoft Office Online Training Series. Here you can find hands-on training videos (also known as "webcasts") designed to help school professionals complete tasks more efficiently in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access. This service is free of charge to NESDEC affiliates. We hope that these webcasts will help you update your computer skills so that you become more productive at work. Each webcast is designed to help you learn a set of skills in one of the Microsoft Office programs. To watch them, go to the page below: On this page, you will see links to each webcast. You will also see links next to each webcast that you can click to download the corresponding hands-on practice file(s) that we’ll be working on in that lesson, as well as a "lesson notes" (page of summary notes for that lesson). Please check the above webcast page often, as new ones are continually being added. Make sure you watch webcasts corresponding to your version of Microsoft Office. (The PC setup link below has information about how to tell which version you have installed.) Before you start watching a video, you’ll need to do some minimal set-up to your PC. To get instructions for PC setup, click the link below: Setting up Your PC for Webcasts If you have questions after watching one of the webcasts, feel free to contact Carol Diesel, your NESDEC "computer tutor" and author of the training series. You can call Carol during her office hours Thursday mornings from 9:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., or e-mail her at: cdiesel@nesdec.org. | |
